A company’s earnings per share declined for the third straight quarter as top leaders failed to make crucial decisions that could turn things around. Another company failed to create a culture of psychological safety and lost a significant percentage of creative talent to attrition. A third company had a disconnect between stated values and job expectations, creating an environment rife with deception.

When people are involved, there are challenges, and there are lessons to be learned. We need to be careful to navigate the challenges ethically and effectively, and learn the right lessons.
